Speaker: Robert Masson
Robert is a previous SMART Award Winner.
He is a founding member and managing director of mi, and has a history of successful business ventures under his belt. The mi website is www.miuk.com
At 18, after studying Computer Studies at college, he put aside plans for university to create a software company servicing a niche area in the media research and advertising industry. SciClone, now in its 17th year, supports a successful franchise network in key countries around the world.
In 1998, using his experience in business development and strategic marketing as well as his solid technical knowledge, he created mi. His role involves the management and development of key clients as well as providing strategic marketing and management consultancy.
Robert has interests in a number of successful companies. He speaks regularly at Internet related seminars and training sessions and he sits on the steering committee of IP-City and Cambridge 2 Ipswich Hi-Tech Corridor initiative. Given all of this he's also mad enough to run the odd marathon!
mi has built a client base that includes some of the country’s largest and most respected corporate brands, but also a broad range of SME clients from many market sectors. The creation, management and marketing of e-commerce websites is central to mi’s service, so they have a wealth of knowledge to pass on.
